Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Graduated Industrial Designer from FADU-UBA.
Currently living in Boulder, CO, USA.
I’m Emma.
I’m an Argentinian-born, Boulder-based designer by trade and seeker by essence—{and a purveyor of kitchen utensils for my family and dearest friends}.
I grew up in Buenos Aires, in a home filled with culture, education, and a deep appreciation for creativity as a way to navigate life.
After earning my degree in Industrial Design and working as an in-house designer, I moved to Europe to immerse myself in factories, exhibitions, conferences, and design events. I lived, worked, and studied in London, Milan, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Munich until love—and my concern for climate change—brought me to the U.S. I’m married to an Italian engineer devoted to wind energy research, and I’m the mum of two curious, 1/2 cup Argentinian, 1/2 cup Italian, and 1 tablespoon American kids.
In Boulder, I founded ESIDE⋮ Design Hub to channel my need to create, collaborate on meaningful projects, and explore a client-facing role. I love hearing how people come up with new ideas and helping them bring those ideas to life in a methodical, and creative way. I also wanted to connect other talented creatives, artists, and designers with emerging ideas that excite them.
Today, ESIDE⋮ partners with those imagining a product, service, or business that doesn’t yet exist—people who are energized by its potential. Through a collection of creative, strategic, and intentional actions, we help bring those ideas closer to reality.
Before launching ESIDE⋮, I had experiences that shaped me both as a designer and a human. In Germany, I worked with the Italian firm EATALY, developing visual concepts, product communication, and user interfaces. Before that, I spent long hours optimizing manufacturing processes at LAFONT’s cast iron factory, absorbing everything about the cast iron industry. In what feels like a past life, I worked in Argentina’s "PYMES" (small businesses), wearing as many hats as needed, and taught Morphology at the University of Buenos Aires—one of my most treasured professional experiences.
