LINEN APRONS

Stylish cross-back cut, to ease freedom of movement while cooking

THE CHALLENGE

Lafont designs, manufactures, and sells high quality kitchenware products. The flagships products are the colorful cast iron casseroles, but several other kitchenware utensils are designed and sold by Lafont.
This project consisted of designing, commissioning, and preparing to market a new line of linen aprons.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

The goal was to design elegant and functional aprons, which were commissioned to an Argentinian laboratory working with textiles. In terms of materials, linen was chosen thanks to its great level of sustainability accompanied by a unique durability.

THE OUTCOME

The linen aprons are loved by the customers of Lafont Cast Iron and are sold in great numbers. The collaboration with the supplier was a success and will be replicated to expand the catalogue of textile products.
